5 years ago I reborn and I become a mother.
Looking back to my birth experience I still have it as a very positive experience
However with the information that I have today, some of the procedures that I was then told as very important and needed (without any information about risks, benefits or alternatives...) , I know now were acts of obstetric violence
Now, I am in peace with that. But my goal as a doula is to pass information based in evidence so woman and birthing people so they can make informed decisions on their labour and birth
5 years just flew and I and feel so grateful for having this amazing child that taught me so much about parenting and about me, and here we are still in the beginning of this journey
